School of Drama & Fine Arts Thrissur

Applications have been invited by School of Drama & Fine Arts, Thrissur under University of Calicut for the Academic Session 2011-12.

1) Certificate Course in Music:

Duration 6 Months

Eligibility: Plus Two and aptitude in Music

2) Certificate Course for Advanced Studies in Mridangam:

Duration 9 Months

Eligibility: Candidate should be able to play a " THAN1AVARTHANAM IN ADITHALAM"

3) Music Therapy:

Duration 9 Months

Eligibility: M.A (Music). In the absence of M.A (Music) degree holders any P.G degree holders with aptitude in music will also be considered. Selection of such students will be based on a practical test

The application forms and other details can be had from the Head of the Department, School of Drama & Fine Arts, Aranattukara.P.O., Thrissur-680 618 on payment of Rs.50/-towards cost of application form and prospectus by way of chalan remitted under Calicut University Head of Account. A self addressed stamped envelope of Rs.10/- is to be enclosed for getting the application by post. Those residing outside Kerala can remil the amount by Postal Order/DD drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, University of Calicut payable at Calicut University Post Office.
