Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (SVYASA), Bangalore, has invited applications for admission to the following courses starting on 1st August, 2011.

a) Post-Graduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy ( PGDYT )
Pre-requisite : Graduation
Normal Duration : 1 year.

b) Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy for Doctors ( PGDYTD)
Pre-requisite : Graduation and YIC
Normal Duration : 1 year.

c) Master of Science in Yoga MSc (Yoga)
Pre-requisite : B.Sc (Yoga) or Bachelor's Degree
Normal Duration : 2 Years

d) Master of Science in Yoga Education MSc (YE)
Pre-requisite : B.Sc (Yoga) or Bachelor's Degree
Normal Duration : 2 Years

e) Master of Science in Yoga and Consciousness MSc (Y&C)
Pre-requisite : B.Sc (Yoga) or Bachelor's Degree
Normal Duration : 2 Years

f) Master of Science in Yoga and Management MSc (YM)
Pre-requisite : B.Sc (Yoga) or Bachelor's Degree
Normal Duration : 2 Years

g) Master of Arts in Yoga and Journalism & Mass Communication MA (Y&J)
Pre-requisite : Bachelor degree of any discipline plus YIC
Normal Duration : 2 Years

h) Master of Philosophy (Counseling and Yoga Therapy) (MPhil - CYT)
Pre-requisite : Should have completed Master degree in one of the following subjects: Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Yoga Psychology Diploma in Psychiatric Medicine, Any other Master’s degree course equivalent to the above must have secured a minimum of 55% in the Master degree Must complete one month Yoga Instructor’s Course at SVYASA
Normal Duration : Residential - 3 years

i) Doctor of Medicine in Yoga and Rehabilitation MD (Y&R)
Pre-requisite : Medical Graduates
Normal Duration : 3 Years

j) Doctoral Degree in Yoga PhD (Yoga)
Pre-requisite : MSc in Yoga or MSc/MCom/BE/BAMS/BHMS/BSMS/MBBS 40 Credits (related to yoga)
Normal Duration : 3 Years
